If video does show up, the device is good. If it is, unplug the power from the unit and restart the computer. This should get the video to display. I’ll have a further delve, as I’m sure it was a free download for the verison I’m using. Please make sure you have the latest version driver. Does anyone have any experience trying to run this hardware under Windows 7?

I doubt that they support Win 7 martin Does anyone have any experience trying to run this hardware under Windows 7? It’s all a bit confusing.
A Pentium II Mhz minimum is required. If it is not listed, this would normally indicate that the hardware was not recognized by the system and the drivers were unable to install. This is a single file which includes the driver, the driver update, middleware, video decoder and WinTV v6 applications and all accessories.
If you click on it you should be able to open the WinTV programs. I’m fairly sure when they say unsupported they mean in 64 bit Windows. NPVR works fine under Windows7: Given the quality of the hauppuage Hauppauge software, I’m not sure I want to “invest” more there. Please refer to “Latest drivers and installation procedures” above.

The device must be reset in order to get it to work again. If you are still unable to use the remote control, this may be a hardware problem and would require repair of the device. NPVR requires manufacturer drivers in order to function, right?
How did you find your driver?
Bypass the error before reconnecting. If it is listed and there is a Yellow mark on it, this would indicate that the drivers would need to be reinstalled. If the hardware wizard does not detect the device, there may be a wijdows with the hardware. The driver for the device must be installed in order to run Prodinfo.
