I guess its just a matter of whats more important I’m now at 89 fps and am trying to figure out whether that’s the real fps or whether I’m hitting the 90 fps cap in Q2. nVidia Forceware Drivers –
forxeware Vsync will show “Off,” but Quake II timedemo will max out at 59 fps. Once reported, our staff will be notified and the comment will be reviewed. I’m having some trouble hunting down a Win98SE version of the driver, however.
Worst is that most don’t come with any documentation. However, this driver set has no Blend option, no specific API options at all infact It was a mess.

Nvidia Forceware Drivers (Windows 2000/XP) 56.72 WHQL Certified
Forceqare type of offense: Driver releases tend to be to fix issues in newer cards so after a year your not really benefitting.
I got away from those drivers about a week ago, and haven’t looked back. The maxfps tweak in the config doesn’t seem to have foorceware effect. My website with reviews, demos, drivers, tutorials and more OpenGL viewperf crashes or is extremely slow if the Physical Address Extension boot option is enabled.
This is with a MHz Slot 1 P3.
