Hi Tim, Thank you for your nice comment. And that driver detector thing was useless. Surprisingly this is still affecting the latest Dell laptops. This worked perfectly for that last pesky exclamation point that needed to be cleared under drivers!! They look like nice machines! This damn E was driving me crazy. Hi Sherman, Thank you for your kind comment. Device manager showing the SMO device after the correct driver has been installed! I just completed downgrading Windows 8 to Sm8810 7 on a Dell M Have a great day! I found the following driver to work for my Latitude E running Windows 8.
