New social networking apps from Google+Yahoo on the way

Many thanks to my Canadian friend with the many harmonicas Jay Moonah (part of the fabulous band Uncle Seth, creators of much fabulous podsafe music) for posting this bit on Twitter.

As was the case with the search game, Google and Yahoo are stepping up their antes in the social networking game. TechCrunch in general is a great tech blog, and they do a nice job of condensing the little bit of news there is about the upcoming innovations. Yum yum TechCrunch, a nutritious and crunchy part of a daily tech diet!
